Harriers Training - w/c 07 August

Tuesday 08 August 

This Tuesday is the fourth and final Rose Inn, starting at 7:30pm. You can help, or run, or help and run. See Marg's FB post for the volunteer list.

For those not involved in Rose Inn, Eddie and Sue will deliver one session on the Leisure Centre field, starting at 6:30pm.

Please read these details carefully as it will save time on the night. Use the links below for information on time bands and training levels. 

Coach Eddie says: '2 big 4s - Little bit of a tester session this week.

Build up as per last week then a fast 400, a rest and then repeat.

800 @ L1 with 1min.

600 @ L1 building to L2 over 400 with 2 mins.

400 tester @ L4.

5 mins rest then repeat but also with a 200 after the 400'.

Juniors

All track sessions are suitable for Harriers Juniors aged 14 and over. A parent must remain present on the field throughout, but there is no requirement to run together. Speak to Steve Dilley and Eddie or Sue prior to the session if you intend to bring a junior.


Thursday 10 August

Thursday's run is the Coastal Path, meet in the lower Leisure Centre carpark at 6:35pm for a 6:45pm start. MC is TBC. You may choose a tempo or more social run, a 45 minute out and back run, or a walk.

After the run is tea/coffee and biscuits in the Leisure Centre bar, do please join us for a drink and a chat.

Respiratory Infections

You are asked to not to attend Harriers training or events if you have symptoms, or are advised to self isolate in accordance with Welsh guidelines.
