Tuesday 29 March
This week's session is 400s on the Severn Bridge, with Andy & Neil at 6:00pm and Berna & Paul 7:00pm.
Coach Andy says:
'Purpose - Improve speed and cardio vascular efficiency
400 x 10 reps, groups A to C
400 x 8 reps, groups D to F
400 x 6 reps, groups G & H
Effort - An honest Zone 3 please! This should feel like quite hard work.
Recovery - 5 lamp posts (160m) slow jog
Start/Assembly - Upstream side of the Wye bridge, by electronic gates. Approx ST640914. Please arrive warmed up.
Notes - This is a good honest, simple session, not complicated by pace/effort or direction changes, or the requirement to constantly look at your watch for distance or time indicators'.
High Viz is mandatory for winter sessions.
Thursday's run is Boughsprings. Meet in the lower Leisure Centre at 6:35pm for a 6:45pm start, where Paul is MC and will get you into in your groups. You may choose a tempo or more social run, a 45 minute out and back run, or a walk.
Please ensure you wear High Vis.
After the run is tea/coffee and biscuits in the Leisure Centre bar, do please join us for a drink and a chat.
COVID-19
