Harriers Training - w/c 10 January

Tuesday 11 January

This week's session is Severn Bridge Hills, with James & John at 6:00pm, and Sue & Richard at 7:00pm. Meet by the underpass on the upstream/eastbound/Lydney side.

Coach James says 'This session is designed to develop your uphill running technique, pace judgement and aerobic power, and consists of two 15 minute parts with a three minute recovery.

Start at the bottom by the tunnel and run at Z2 to the turn on to the cycle track. On this short hill the focus should be uphill technique. Turn left and run along the flat at Z3 to where the coach is positioned, and run back at the same effort to the top of the longer hill. Turn and run down to the start at a moderate pace as a recovery'.

High viz is mandatory for winter sessions. Head torches will not be needed, especially as runners will be facing each other during the session. Please do think about whether you will need a head torch on the way to and home from the session however.

In order to allow James and Sue to plan the best session for attendees, you are requested to register if you plan to come, giving your name and pace group only. Registration is not compulsory however, and details will not be retained following the session.
