Hi everyone. I'm really pleased that we're coming into our second week of a return to training. On Tuesday the early session is 400s on the track with Coach Dick, and the later session is Drielauf with Coach Kev. Look out for the email which James sent out on Saturday, with links to the session plans and sign up sheet.
Thursday evening will be another social run, with an additional walking group for 6 people. Again look out for Helen's email from earlier today on how to sign up.
A couple of quick reminders on registration:
1. By registering for any session you are explicitly agreeing that you have read and understood the session plan / risk assessment. This means that the face to face briefing on the night can be reduced to as short as possible, aiding in social distancing.
2. Please ensure you fill in all fields in the registration sheet, including emergency contact for the night, own contact details for track and trace, and a recent 5k time for 400s.
3. If your pace group is full please do register as a reserve. This helps us to monitor if we have enough training spaces to meet the demand. It also means that if other pace groups are not full we can manipulate the groups to accommodate everyone who wants to attend.
4. If you have registered and remove your name because you can't attend, please do check if there is a reserve registered. If so please can you cut and paste their name into your place, and drop them a message to let them know.
5. Thursday social runs require a leader in each group of 6. It is the leaders responsibility to ensure that the COVID-19 risk assessment is followed, and that the group stays together with no-one left behind.
Outside of club activity, remember that in both Wales and England up to six people from separate households may meet up outside and so can run together.
Any questions please ask.
Dickie.
