Harriers Training and News - w/c 25 December

A very Merry Christmas to all Harriers and your families, I hope you have a happy and restful time.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all our volunteers including coaches, Thursday night MCs and leaders, the A Team, Team Captains, Club Champs and Fell series coordinators, organisers, facilitators, committee, Race Directors and helpers, and anyone who commits their time for the benefit of the Harriers. Your contribution is critical to the running of the club and very much appreciated.

Anyway, here's what's happening.

Tuesday 26 December

There is no training this week, I suggest you spend the evening eating leftover turkey instead.

Thursday 28 December

Thursday's run is Mathern, meet in the Leisure Centre bar at 6:35pm for a 6:45pm start. MC and 45 minute run leader are TBC, if necessary please organise yourselves on the night. You may choose a tempo or more social run, a 45 minute out and back run, or a walk. Tea and coffee will be available in the leisure centre bar after your run as usual.

Hi-Vis is mandatory and you will require a headtorch

Thursday Volunteers

We are now looking for MCs and 45 minute run leaders for after Christmas. Please put your name down to volunteer if you can, using the link below.

Speedway 10k - Sunday 28 January

Due to access issues outside our control, this race is now cancelled.

Volunteering at parkrun

A friendly reminder that if you love parkrun, please consider volunteering regularly at a local event. Some (particularly Rogiet & Rogiet junior parkrun) are at risk due to a lack of volunteers.

Enjoy your running.

Dickie.
