Tuesday 20 December
Please read these details carefully as it will save time on the night. Use the links below for information on time bands and training levels.
This week's session is Link Road 800s, with Dick & Kelly at 6:15pm, and Lindsey & Paul at 7:00pm. We will meet at the top of the link road for both sessions, please arrive warmed up and ready to run!
This session is great for pace judgement and to focus on running form, especially on the uphills.’
Coach Dick says: 'Link Road 800s is a speed/endurance session which comprises efforts downhill and uphill in pace groups, with 90 secs recovery between each effort.
High-viz is mandatory. Head torches will not be needed, especially as runners will be facing each other during the session, but you should consider whether you need one running to and home from the session.
Performance Session
A Performance Session will take place on the Leisure Centre track starting at 6:15pm. These sessions are open to all club members, and are of particular use to those who are targeting a particular race or PB. Speak directly to Eddie if you think they would benefit your training plan.
Thursday 22 December
Thursday's run is our Christmas Social; I hope you all submitted your booking form in time! Meet at the library at 6:30 for a 6:45pm start, followed by a mince pie and mulled wine in the Coach & Horses. Fancy dress is encouraged and please bring a pen. More details to follow this week. Remember there is no other run from the LC this week. Hi-vis is mandatory.
COVID-19
You are asked to not to attend Harriers training or events if you have symptoms, or are advised to self isolate in accordance with Welsh guidelines.
