Please note hi-viz is mandatory for all sessions

Tuesday 06 December

Please read these details carefully as it will save time on the night. Use the links below for information on time bands and training zones.

This week's session is Severn Bridge Hills, with Lindsey & Paul at 6:15pm, and Bethan & Lindsey at 7:00pm. We will meet in the Severn Bridge tunnel for both, please arrive warmed up and ready to run!

Coach Lindsey says 'Severn Bridge Hills is a series of efforts up the short hill from the tunnel, then turning left along the severn bridge approach before turning back to take on the longer hill. Total lap is approximately 600m and you’ll get a recovery on the way back down to the tunnel. The aim of the session is to focus on uphill running technique and pace judgement. You will be running 2 x 15 minutes of continuous running with 3 mins recovery back to the start'.

High-viz is mandatory. Head torches will not be needed, especially as runners will be facing each other during the session, but you should consider whether you need one running to and home from the session.

Performance Session

A Performance Session will take place on the Leisure Centre track starting at 6:15pm. These sessions are open to all club members, and are of particular use to those who are targeting a particular race or PB. Speak directly to Eddie if you think they would benefit your training plan.
