Harriers Training - w/c 09 May

Tuesday 10 May

This Tuesday is the first race in the Rose Inn series. You can help out, or run, or help out and then run. All the details on FB and the website.

Thursday 12 May

Training this week is on Thursday due to the Rose Inn race. So, a chance for all the social only runners to remind themselves what fun the track can be, and all the Tuesday trainers not to miss a week of training.

This week's session is Fartlek on the Leisure Centre track, with Sue & Sarah at 6:15pm, and Dick & Kelly at 7:00pm. You should warm up for at least 10 minutes prior to the session start time, either on the way to the track or around the school field when you arrive.

Coach Sue says 'Fartlek means 'speed play' in Swedish, and is a fun way to develop your aerobic capacity, pace judgement and technique. The session is 25 minutes of continuous running, with a whistle blow indicating the start of each effort (at Zone 3 or 5k effort)'.

COVID-19

You are asked to not to attend Harriers training or events if you have symptoms, or are advised to self isolate in accordance with Welsh guidelines.

Enjoy your running.

Dickie.
