Tuesday 01 February
This week's session is 400s on the Severn Bridge, with Sue & Stuart at 6:00pm, and James & Joanne 7:00pm.
Coach Sue says:
'The aim of the training is to develop speed endurance and improve pace judgement.
The session consists of 400m repetitions in zone 3/2, with about 200m recovery in between. Most runners will complete 7-10 repetitions in the 30mins.
Meet in the Severn Bridge underpass for warm up and briefing. The start of repetition is at the White Gate on the upstream bridge'.
High viz is mandatory for winter sessions. Head torches will not be needed as the bridge is well lit, and you'll be running back towards other attendees. Do look out for cyclists and other bridge users though. Please do think about whether you will need a head torch on the way to and home from the session however.
In order to allow Sue and James to plan the best session for attendees, you are requested to register if you plan to come, giving your name and pace group only. Registration is not compulsory however, and details will not be retained following the session.
