COVID Update 13 March

Hi all. No changes to the situation regarding club training and social runs from the First Minister's announcement yesterday unfortunately, and no indication of when that may change.

So for Wales the rules regarding exercise remain that four people from two separate households may meet and exercise together. However as of today you may travel for a distance of up to five miles, making it easier to meet other households or to run somewhere different.

Provided that public health conditions continue to be favourable, from 27 March organised outdoor activities for children can take place. We are therefore hoping to restart Juniors after the Easter break. Also it is expected that the 5 mile 'stay local' rule will be lifted.

In England a roadmap to lifting lockdown was announced on 22 February, with relevant points as follows:

Currently an individual may exercise with their household or support bubble, if they are eligible for one, or with one person from outside their household.

From 29 March six people may meet outside to exercise and the stay at home rule will be lifted. Also from 29 March people will be able to take part in formally organised outdoor sports.

As always, if you cross the border the most stringent regulation applies to you.

Any questions please ask.
