The Week Ahead 23 Oct 2017

Tuesday’s session is a 2 for the price of 1. School Hill and the Underpass Steps, 15 minutes on each.

And Thursday’s Run takes us over the Severn Bridge. It’s a good 10 miles if you accept the challenge of running all the way into England and back on the opposite side, but you can choose the distance that suits you by turning round at, say, one of the towers.

The Week Ahead team would like to hear in the Comments box from any members who do complete the challenge. Let us know how long it took you.

Meanwhile the 45 Minuters will be doing their usual all-stay-together run. Here again, the Weaker Head team will be delighted to hear how long that run took.

  1. Hamish reports:
Jenni Bell and I managed to complete the whole 10 miles in 1:45:09. Saying that I'm not sure that running my first ever 10 miles two days before my first fell race was wise...

  2. Just in from the 45 Mins group:
“We wizzed round so fast that we did it in 44 minutes! Aiming for 43 next week unless some boring slow runner turns up and slows us right down.
