The Week Ahead 18 July 2016

All Harriers are beseeched to run the Leisure Ctre race at Parc Penallta on Tuesday eve. You'll have seen our Captains' call to arms - at least 30 men and 18 women are needed to fill the three teams. You don't have to be a fast runner to get points for the club.

Share cars at our Leis Ctre at 6.

Thursday's run is over at Sedbury Lane, with a nice route via Tidenham Church, Boughspring and back along Offa's Dike.

For those not looking for a long run, Syd is offering a guided run round our 130 celebration 1 mile course, to prepare you for your leg on Friday/Saturday. You have given Gerry/Dani your name, haven't you? And Jane R for your presence at the celebratory post-relay bbq?

An interesting challenge for energetic Harriers will be the trip to the Black Mountains for our next in the Fell Race Series. Waun Fach is a classic race with no hazardous bits, but a good long climb at the start.

2pm start Saturday, so get your 1 mile relay leg in before travelling.

Ridiculously cheap at £3 enter on the day. Rob Brown Snr is the organiser.

  1. Won't it be dangerously hot to race on Tuesday night ?
