The Week Ahead 29 June 2015

Coach Geoff B is taking the session on Tuesday. The training this week will be 3 sets of 200, 400, & 600 mtr reps @ 5k effort, with 200 mtr jog recoveries and & 400 mtr slow jog recovery between sets.
As always take time to think about where you are with your running before the session so you can train accordingly. 2 sets if you’re recovering from the week end or 4 sets if you’re full of go!  We
will be working in pace groups split in to sub groups of 3 or 4 so bring a watch.
One of the Club's classic open races on Thursday, the Tintern Trot has a good reputation as a tough off-roader. We have a well-drilled team working under Dave Andrews, with scope for other members to enter the race. The post-race refreshments and generous prize list make the annual trip to the Wye Valley a draw for race connoisseurs.
