Roll Up for the Mile Record Attempt

Yes. this Friday 26 April on the Link Road at 6.15.
Coach Chris plus Syd plus anyone else who fancies a stab at their age group 1 mile record will be gathering at the big sign at the 1200m mark.
It's half mile up, round the human bollard, and half mile back to the start.
You can park in Maple Avenue behind the hedge.
All welcome!

  1. Chris will have to go some to beat Ian Wades' MV45 record of 5 min. 43 secs., set in warm July 2006 on a flat Chepstow track. At the time Ian was doing two speed sessions a week on that Mecca for speed freaks, Caldicot 400 metre track.

    1. I chose 'Anonymous' as I couldn't understand the other titles. What's a 'TypePad'? 'FootPad' I can understand, and an 'OpenID'? What the...................?

  3. Yes, it's a pretty tough record to beat.....obviously it'll be a lot easier than the flat pot-hole infested track at Chepstow LC, but you never know??

Break a leg Chris...the anointed hour with destiny approaches?
